At the end of this module, the student will be able to identify the symptoms and warning signs of various emergencies, and respond to such emergencies:

• Asthma attack
• Bites and stings
• Bleeding
• Breathing/suffocation
• Burns
• Cardiac arrest
• Choking
• Diabetic emergencies
• Fainting
• Heart attack

• Heat stroke
• Hypothermia
• Muscle, bone, joint injuries
• Opioid-associated emergency
• Poisoning
• Seizure
• Severe allergic reactions
• Shock
• Spinal injuries
• Traumatic injuries
